Hey all, Today i was asked about what are some good books for game design so I thought i would make this post to link you all to some of the most useful books i have had over the years that you guys might also enjoy.

Modeling, UV Mapping, and Texturing 3D Game Weapons (Wordware Game Developer's Library)
This book is great for helping explain some concepts although it does use Maya for the modeling so to people who are interested mainly in using max this might not be the best option for you.

David Perry on Game Design
This book for serious game designers is a must have tons of useful information that you will love!

Fundamentals of Game Design (New Riders Games)
This book is really what it says anyone who is just starting out in game design this fundamentals book is a must have!

Game Design
This is a great book that helps really explain how games are developed and anyone seriously looking in to developing there own game should give this a read to find out what processes you will go through.

Game Coding Complete, 3rd
Game coding is my love and what i do the most and i love this book so much for all the great tips and help it will give you when you are getting started! MUST HAVE for anyone who wants to get in to coding!

Game Development With Unity
For the people who enjoy the unity engine this is also a must have to get a better understanding of what it can do and how to use it

3ds Max Modeling for Game
3d Studio max modeling for games is a great book for understand the process of creating 3d models for games understanding a lot of tools in 3d studio max! Great read and one of my fav books!

UDK Game Development
Another great book for anyone who is thinking of developing games under the unreal engine!

Unreal Development Kit Game Programming with UnrealScript: Beginner's Guide
And for the people who are interested in learning uscript i couldn't really miss out this book for you because its such a great resource that you will come back to over and over again.
