After doing a few tutorials for a friend at my college I decided to start a blog to try and help other people out there who are finding the world of game design a little bit challenging. Below are a few videos i have done to explain.

Creating a Ambient Occlusion with xnormal
Creating a diffuse texture
Applying the the diffuse texture to your model in 3D Studio Max
Using of normal maps and bump maps
Creating a specular map
Exporting it to unreal engine
Viewing it in the unreal engine

These tutorials are to give you a idea of what the leading game designers are currently using as techniques in modern day games to create great effect while keeping there models Polly counts to a low level in fact this model we are creating is just 45pollys!
